This collection frame displays some our our favourite scarab beetles. They have been pinned in different positions to show how their wings can fully open when taking flight. We love the subtle pistachio colour and the metallic blue legs on the Plusiotis Erubecens beetle whereas the Chrysophora Chrysochlora scarab has an incredibly deep green tone and interesting structure to their shields.

These museum grade entomology frames are constructed from wood plastered with book-binding cloth and a plastazote backing. They are box frames with a removable lid. They are 5cm deep and equipped with picture frame hooks so you can choose to hang or have them stand up.
