I believe this is the most elaborate Morpho butterfly dome we've worked on to date, with a total count of 13 Morpho butterflies and 4 different Morpho specimens. You can perfectly see that each morpho specimens reflects a different shade of blue, ranging from a deep turquoise to a more subtle aquamarine and then the lilac opal shade of the Morpho Sulkowskyi.
This is a piece to treasure and when exposed to some natural light you will see this piece transform colour throughout the day as the Morpho Butterflies are known for their "structural colour" meaning their colour is a reflection of the light so they react to the intensity of the light. In lighter golden light their lilac and purple undertones will become more visible.
