Blue Lilacs

One of our favourite displays as of yet - an incredible arrangement of 5 Morpho butterflies. With the tone of each specimen unique in their iridescent blue or lilac hue, this frame shows off the range of colours within this genus.

If you find the perfect spot for this frame where it can soak up some subtle light you will see it change colour throughout the day, as the intensity of the light changes and reflects of the butterfly scales…

Frame:

XL Frame: 23x30x5cm

These museum grade entomology frames are constructed from wood plastered with book-binding cloth and a plastazote backing. They are box frames with a removable lid. They are 5cm deep and equipped with picture frame hooks so you can choose to hang or have them stand up.
