A Pink Affair

Pink turns out to be quite an uncommon colour in butterflies so we’re really happy to now bring you this arrangement of different specimen with subtle pink and beige hues.

At first glance this frame seems focused around 2 large swallowtail butterflies, but the details end up carrying all the weight in these specimen - from translucent wings to a dusty change in colour and intense flaming accents.

Frame:

XL Frame: 23x30x5cm

These museum grade entomology frames are constructed from wood plastered with book-binding cloth and a plastazote backing. They are box frames with a removable lid. They are 5cm deep and equipped with picture frame hooks so you can choose to hang or have them stand up.
