Sunset Solace

This colourful day-flying moth may not need an introduction since it’s often referred to as the most beautiful butterfly in the world. A common misconception for the “Madagascan Sunset Moth”. Here we present 2 species in one frame, front and back. The colours are almost surreal and have a surprisingly metallic finish.

These museum grade entomology frames are constructed from wood plastered with book-binding cloth and a plastazote backing. They are box frames with a removable lid. They are 5cm deep and equipped with picture frame hooks so you can choose to hang or have them stand up.
